With my photographs, I strive to capture the beauty and mystery of the human experience with everything that inhabits it. I do what I do because I enjoy sharing my perspective with the world and how I see it from my lens for others to relate to and enjoy as well as myself. It makes me happy to capture moments in my life with the people I love and enjoy with my camera. Usually, I like to do photoshoots with people I know or just people in general since humans are such complicated beings and I want to dig into that mystery with my work. I explore the different settings of my camera a ton to get diverse types of pictures but one of my absolute favorite things to do is light painting with a slow shutter speed on my camera. In the future, I want to keep branching out with my style and challenge myself with new techniques to become more well-versed in my field and to find a new way to look at my subjects. My art teachers from my first two semesters of college have inspired me a ton as well as my friends from college, supporting me through everything and helping me succeed in my creative endeavors by giving constructive feedback and encouraging words. Getting to learn more about my style with new techniques and information will take time and hard work to achieve, I know, but I’m more than eager to do my best and strive to improve in every way I can. I genuinely love what I do, and I hope I can continue to evolve with my work to accomplish my purpose and reach new heights.
